What to do…to be here longer?

January 26, 2011 – 2:09 am

Well, there’s a pretty straightforward question isn’t it.  I want to live as long as I possibly can, what should I do?

Just this week our little part of the galaxy said goodbye to a fitness legend; Mr. Jack Lalanne.  Over the years I think we all just assumed he would live forever.  Heavens, I remember him on television when I wasn’t even old enough to reach the knobs.  Yes, our TV’s back then had knobs that you actually had to get up off of the couch to adjust, oh the humanity!

So, in thinking of all we should be doing or perhaps would like to be doing I can across an email from Mr. David Wolfe.  My wife has read his books and he even was sort of local here in San Diego for a period of time.

Anyway, while I’m not vegan nor for that matter do I subscribe to an all vegetarian diet, I do believe you should listen to smart people.  David, for the most part, seems to surround himself with smart people.  Naturally, when they talk, you should listen.

I’ve listed as many links as I can find below as reference.    We spend so much on our cars, our houses, our lawns, but what about our own maintenance.  Review the information here.  If it interests you, find out more.  Jack Lalanne made it to 96.  I firmly believe there are many of us with the potential to actively go further than that.

The Many Facets of The World at Witt’s End

January 25, 2011 – 1:48 pm

The beauty of the human experience is that we should never, never limit ourselves.  At WAWE, World at Witt’s End for short, we’ve discovered that with every new day there are new challenges, exciting projects and ideas all floating out there in the universe.

What are we currently working on?

Farmers of the Mind:  Insight into what it takes to cultivate the human mind to do not just ordinary, but extra-ordinary things, everyday.

Thoughts from the Silver Tray:  Susan has developed a special skill for finding and highlighting areas that businesses might overlook in moving their appearance and style to the next level.

SMART:  Specialized Marketing Analysis, Research and Training.  We are taking the skills and talents we’ve developed and are helping other hospitality partners look for ways to improve their quality of service, professional appearance and standards of excellence.
